Description
Available with us is Soya Concentrate Protein Non-GMO,which is processed through different methods. The processing of this product involves removal of a portion of the carbohydrates (sugars) from dehulled and defatted soybeans. Considered an effective functional or nutritional ingredient, this product is used in the preparation of different food items like baked foods and breakfast cereals. It is also used in meat and poultry products for increasing water and fat retention as well as for improving nutritional values (more protein, less fat).
It can be processed through two methods:
Alcohol extraction
This method results in most loss of the soy isoflavones.
Water extraction
Through this method the sugars are removed, while the soy protein concentrate retains most of the fiber of the original soybean. This results in good retention of the isoflavones in the final product.
